Love is one of the essences of Islam : Sayyid Ibraheemul Khaleel Al Bukhari

Calicut : Markazu Saqafathi Sunniyya organises Ruby Jubilee Lecture series by Malaibar Institute for Advanced Studies- MIAS, an independent interdisciplinary research institute based in Markaz Knowledge City. This special lecture series is conducted by MIAS in collaboration with different academic institutes is dedicated to explore how Muslim live their life.

The first lecture in the series done by Sayyid Ibraheemul Khaleel Al Bukhari founding Chairman of Ma’din Academy. In the lecture, Sayed Bukhari addressed the question, what does it mean to love in Islam.

Sayyid Ibraheemul Khaleel Al Bukhari explained with the examples of Quran and Hadees and describing how the prophet Muhammed ( Swel) defined and practised love. Muslim can’t deviate from the pure essence of love because that makes their life divine. There are many objects to love somebody, perhaps for one’s beauty, quality, reverence and excellence, and all those characteristics are covered completely in the prophetic nature. One becomes a faithful believer when he loves the almighty Allah and his messenger than everything he has: He said.
